There are times when texting is more convenient than a phone call, and there are times when the keyboard on your smart phone is inconvenient.  When I have a lot that I want to say in a text, I prefer to use my talk-to-text feature (as long as I am alone or in an anonymous place like walking outside in NYC).

Most of the time I read what is translated BEFORE I send the message. Every now and again, I don’t. Today I sent this:

I do you friend ***** so I don’t see anything with you put on his wall but I quickly and the post a little while ago on your wall from him in the back in forth I know it doesn’t make sense either

What I said was this:
“I de-friended ***** so I don’t see anything that you put on his wall but I quickly read the post a little while ago on your wall from him and the back and forth. It doesn’t make sense to me either”

Ironically, the part about the message not making sense was intentional, but only as a response to a question that was asked of me which ended with “Really don’t understand.”

Another gem worth repeating, which I have used frequently since creating the error:
Chat with my pants

What I said was:
“That’s what I said!”
