Thanks for commenting Ellene! I lived in Austin, Texas for a while, so I completely understand and fully agree with your mention of fire ants. I think that is where I was broken of my barefoot habit, as well as the pleasure of lying on my back and finding shapes in the clouds. And thank you! I wore a blister band-aid today so I hope I had some protection from further injury 🙂
